We just removed the carpet from our family room and the builders spray painted the base boards on the cement before installing the carpet. It's not very thick, just over spray. Do we have to scrape up all the paint before glueing down the bamboo floors?
Looking for someone who installs hardwood floors and if so, when you remove someones carpet and see paint overspray do you actually get down on the ground and scrap the paint up with a razor blade? We have done this for three other rooms and it's very time consuming and hard work. Just wondering if the glue would stick to the ground even with a little over spray. This room is very big and I can't imagine with all the hardwood floors getting installed that the installers would need to scrape all the paint before installing wood.
