What is the best way to install bamboo flooring over a concrete floor?

Many of the Web DIY been using a moisture barrier, but suggest gluing the boards to the concrete … this makes no sense to me. Anyone with experience out there?

Bamboo flooring is unique and very suitable for installation directly on concrete floors. There are two different methods available for installation directly on the concrete floor. Personally I installed using the two methods of both types Premium green bamboo. Before you start, if you suspect a moisture problem with the concrete, you need to do evidence of calcium chloride moisture before installation. If calcium chloride moisture test result is less than or equal to 3 lbs then the concrete floor is considered dry.
