Any ideas for a unique shower curtain rod and hooks?
I am redoing my bathroom and I want a shower rod that is not so plain and traditional. The shower curtain is light gold and black with red Asian flowers on it. All I've seen so far are the typical chrome, gold, white, etc. straight shower curtain rods. I'm using a bamboo floor mat to keep with the asian/nature theme and it looks great. Any ideas for an unusual asian/natural shower curtain rod?
Use a bamboo stick. You can have it cut to the correct measurements at Home Depot and also get the rubber round rod holders for the sides of the shower to keep in place. I've done this myself with an african themed bathroom I had a few years ago.
Is this a good idea to buy a bedroom, bathroom of an apartment in Atlanta?
I think to be a time owner for the first time in Atlanta. I was considering buying a bedroom, bath condo in a Popular "and" Atlanta neighborhood called Glenwood Park (East Atlanta). The condo is absolutely beautiful (bamboo flooring, granite countertops, high ceilings, etc.) and the neighborhood itself is a very nice place to live (there is a beautiful park with a pond in the region as well as small restaurants and bars who live above.) I always heard that it is difficult to re-sell a one bedroom condo, so I wanted to get some opinions on this article! Preferably someone with experience in real estate. I think that since the neighborhood is so unique and a place to live, it would not be a problem ... but I really like to get advice before entering into something that can not leave! Thank you!
