How come on Survivor? Nobody builds...?
a bamboo hut right away? This bugs me. I would make a nice comfortable hut out of whatever material the environment provides. Surely, someone can do this. Any 12 yr old playing in the backyard could figure it out. And put down soft leaves/branches, something on the floor. Then you would be really popular on the show for providing a comfy place. Anybody else wonder this?
Yeah, a really comfy hut made from any wood would be an excellent idea. They're there for long enough to make it really nice.
Years ago there was a show on BBC2 I think where this ex SAS bloke abandoned people in the wilderness with one match. He said the main priorities where fire, fuel, food and shelter - and he expected the contestants to do all that on the first night!
Why don't the contestants on Survivor not do this - and yeah this is a bit bitchy - but they're all far to interested in getting a sun tan and looking good in their bikinis etc. Making a hut would be too much like hard work lol.
