Bamboo flooring removal?
I have installed Supreme Bamboo flooring tongue and groove with Adhesive glue by Lumber Liquidators. Even so, the last 8 rows are wobbly due to expansion by temperature and make it uneven on the concrete floor.
Does any one know how to dissolve the dried wood glue and get rid of the boards with out damaging them?
Bamboo expanded upward. I tried water, vinegar and rubber hammer but no luck. The wobble wont break up the adhesive.
Try denatured alcohol. You can find it at most hardware stores. Did you use a moisture barrier on the concrete floor? Not using it could also explain the wobbly floor. It sounds like the boards were tapped together to tight because they expanded upward and not cut precisely. Measure twice, cut once.
You can try to remove the boards by separating them at the joins or seams using a small pry bar, a screwdriver or a hammer and chisel.
