Title of a book – 1st chapter is a kid under a bar with bamboo floors – there’s a big fight in the bar. Help!?
The first chapter of the book details a kid under a bar that has bamboo floors. He’s gathering coins to pay for a guild membership. There’s a dude in the bar that gets approached by a pack of other dudes who dude 1 then dispatches. Before he leaves he says something to the kid under the bamboo floors. I read this sample chapter online and now can’t think of the books title or the author! Please help! If anyone knows anything about this book! Thanks!
