what's the best way to stop a wooden conservatory floor from swelling?
The conservatory floor is made of hardwood tiles, laid professionally and edged by cork (which was supposed to absorb the swelling / decreasing size) but has swollen so much that areas of the floor are popping upwards like hills. Is this due to humidity? Would a demhumidifier solve this problem? Thank you.

It is normal to leave a gap to take up the swell, around the edge of a floating floor and it sounds like the cork is preventing this from happening take out the cork and hire a space heater for a day from your local hire shop the floor will return to its normal shape then use a humidifier to reduce the moisture and keep it that way
