Golf clubs for around $300? looking at 2009 slazenger amp, adams 2008 tight lies, and your suggestions?
I am getting back into golf. My set is not very good and I am looking to get a set of clubs for about $300. Dicks had the Slazenger 09 AMP set without bag, putter, and sand-wedge for 249 plus a 10% discount for being a floor model. I then bought a Maxfli bag for $60. They also have a new set of Adams golf Tight Lies that are the 08 version for $350, but I can get them elsewhere for $320. This includes bag, putter, wood covers and a sand-wedge. So about the same price for both. The Dicks employee told me the Slazengers will have better graphite, but the Adams will have better iron heads. Any other suggestions?

Between the two, Adams is the better set. The store employee is pretty much right on, but the Adams woods aren't that bad.
