Black/Brown decorating?
I have asked a question like this earlier but I need to clarify my colors.
We have black distressed couches- dark brown wood furniture- and medium scuffed up and knotty hardwood floors- our walls are beige and our cielings are high with exposed piping. (We live in a metro type apartment complex)
Question is....
What color rug should I put down? If I have a rug with alot of brown will it clash with my couch? Do I have to have black in my rug to tie the couches with other colors that go with brown? Will a brown and green ug or brown red and yellow rug work??
I'd go with a white rug to lighten up the room a little more with all the dark colors... maybe a shag rug.. thats what i would do, sounds cute btw. 
What color goes with bamboo green cabinets?.?
I also painted the cabinets in a distressed look.I bought this very pretty slate tile to put as a back splash, and it has beautiful colors in it, like pinks, yellows and a lot of grey. My question is what should I paint the walls now?, I tried a light grey, but it looks lavender. I also have a dark grey floor paint for the floors, but I'm thinking now of just letting the floor be the wood that is there already. Please help me, I am so use to light pretty colors, so I feel kind of lost with these darker colors.
My counter tops were made by my husband. They are a honey maple wood.
I feel ill, but you can save it. . Brown goes with green but not in a kitchen. Brown is depressing, no one will want to be in there. So go white. White with a slight tan base to it to keep it bright.
The opposite of green is orange but you don`t want that either. However a light nice orange peachy color could go with it depending on how bright of a bamboo you did. White trim.
