Ballpark estimate for installation only of laminate flooring in DFW Texas area?
Oh, also it would be an area of 1000 sf or less.
Someone offered me their leftover laminate flooring and all the materials that go with it (underlayment, quart round, etc), and it is enough to cover the main areas of my house. But I don't want to install it myself. What is a ballpark estimate for this service? I want to have a rule of thumb before I request quotes from specific companies/contractors.
2/2.5$ a s/f is the average going rate per s/f for labor.
You may get a break if the flooring is more open area.This price usually won t include any floor prep , rip out, furniture moving etc. Won t include the installation of 1/4 rd either, but you may work a deal to have it installed .. This amount of wood you can get price because of the amount of s/f that it is..

Floating Floor T-Molding Installation?
I just installed an Easoon Floating floor (from Home Depot) and just just need to install the T-Molding to finish it off. I've read that T-Molding needs to be installed with a track, but mine did not come with one and I can't find a place to purchase just a track. I've read that you can glue the molding to one side of the floor an an alternative, but the track seems like a cleaner and more proper way to do it. Can anybody tell me where to buy the track or offer some guidance on installing the molding. Thanks a lot!
You do not need a tract.
With Eason flooring all you need to do is let it expand and contract on its own.
What you need to do is raise any molding 1/8 up from, and away from any inhibitor, and let the floor to be successful. Let the floor expand and contract on its own.
That is all you need to do.
