how to install hardwood floor Frequently Asked Questions
How long will it take to install hardwood flooring?
2 People working on it
the room is 13ft4in by 9ft2in
Pre finished hardwood , with 2 people wont take long. If you know what your doing and have the right tools , either borrowed or rented it ll only take a few hours.
If you are rookies, still less than a day.
Finished on site will take 5/6 days depending on air temp and humidity for drying times.
Since you have about 120 s/f this won t take long at all.

Installing hardwood floor...what to do if some pieces are curved a bit?
We bought prefinished white oak 3 1/2" wide boards. Should be the good stuff. My handy husband plans to do the install and wants to know what you do if you get boards that aren't straight. Like if some curve, do you nail them down or how do you get them to go in? Need advice from the experienced ones. Thanks!
1 st 2 are right on the money. If your renting a nailer get an air driven one since those are activated on how hard you hit them.. Most boards will go in w/ a slight hit . Ones w/ those slight curves will take a harder hit and a few extra nails(staples) These nailers come both ways so check if your manufacturer will allow staples.. ( most do now)
