How do I install laminate flooring over uneven floors?
Try using Jif-Set. It's a self leveling floor compound that will fill in just about any gap. It's very easy to use and should dry hard in a day. Buy the latex mix instead of using water.

Buy and Install Hardwood....?
I have hardwood throughout my first floor but the sunroom area is still carpeted (both types were already installed when I moved in).
Now I'd like to put hardwood in the sunroom. It is a small area -144 sq. ft.
My question is whether it will be pretty easy to match the current hardwood (I think it's oak) and approximately how much I can expect to spend buying the hardwood and having it installed.

This whole process is easy if you just visit a flooring store. If you can bring a finished piece of wood that looks close to the wood you want to match, do so.
In one visit, you can choose the wood, and probably get a price estimate on the wood plus install. I am guessing a total of $1,300 for the wood plus installation, factory finished.
Remember to leave 1/2" gap on the on the edges where the planks run parallel with the wall for expansion. The gap gets covered with quarter-round or other "mop board" trim.
If you can swing a hammer, or rent a flooring hammer, you can do this yourself for around $500 everything included except your time.
