What do you think about cork flooring?

I'm thinking of putting cork flooring in my kitchen and bathroom. Cork is supposed to be waterproof, but I'm not sure about that. Also supposed to be low maintenance. Is there anyone out there have cork floors, and what you have to say about it.

Cork flooring is much more recent high density of old things. Still scratching and wear, so do not use it if you are hard on floors. I recommend to the bathrooms. It is water resistant but not waterproof. I like cork floors for appearance and acoustic properties. I would use it in my house, but that is because with the kids and two dogs that would be impractical. I had a cleaning service for many years. In the 1970s, several customers had cork floors. There were many companies that know how to maintain them. In an office building, the floor was installed in 1948 and was still good. Recent cork is compressed to make it harder and more resistant to wear and usually ended with polymers or urethanes, water resistance, wear and maintenance.
