installation engineering plant?
I am not a professional but want to install wood built on my own. What are the pros and cons of both floating and paste an engineered wood floor system on concrete? In the floating floor systems, where a layer of foam used and when a layer of cork base used?
The main difference between the two is the difference you'll notice when you walk on it. A floating floor will sound more hollow while no one next floor. I installed both a bunch of times and I prefer to stick down. with a cement floor that is not particularly even, a floating floor will be better because base coat can help hide imperfections. A floating floor will be much faster install.Gluing down wood is a slow process, because you can only beat few meters from the tail time. The create fast and if not quickly install the wood that will not stick and liaison with cement. It s not a need but you really need floor roller to roll over the wood to help manufacturers of wood stick. Most require. Not much difference in the foam helps underlayments. The act more like a moisture barrier. Cork is well.
