What is a healthy plant covering (not vinyl) for the bathroom floor in a mobile home, flooring Partical Board?
I have a 1999 Fleetwood Mobile Home and I want to put a new deck floor in my bathroom. I do not want to use vinyl, because the chemicals are said to "postpone" in the air, but I'm not sure if I use tiles due to bending and due to the weight. I stopped some of the vinyl flooring and I have found below the particle board. What are my best "healthy soils" options?
Linoleum can be installed over particle board. Linoleum is easy to clean and protects the soil from moisture. For tile, you need to install new tile cement board (as WonderBoard) first to give the tile a firm surface. Wooden engineering, such as Pergo or wood are other options.
