Are these OK for cockatiels?

Hi everybody,
I am having a tiel soon and I am currently planning to build a playgym for him/her.
What I&#8217;m wondering is if I can use artificial grass for the flooring(http://www.alibaba.com/product-gs/201516815/Artificial_Grass_plastic_turf_.html) or a green carpet or so?
