Help needed to prepare my wood floor and tile installation?
I have removed old tile date of my basement and want to put tiles new engineered wood below. When I removed the old tile left a large amount of cement grout and glued to the concrete floor. What is the best way to get a smooth surface to start from scratch? please help, thanks!
I do not think there's a good way to remove the old and left a thin floor.Basically I do is take a hammer and a crowbar and tried to start a knocking.Have floor sander before and they raised so much dust and was taking forever.Have also tried use a floor scraping machine (which can be rented) and thin-rise is not what it was designed to help before although up glue engineered wood old. Ultimately, I think it is only one of them things where you just have to use a lotta elbow grease.
