refinish hardwood floors
I would like to refinish my old wood floor under the carpet, but I have the differences between some of the tables.?

They're probably 1 / 8 to 3 / 16 maximum width and is only here and there. Is there some kind of filler that is supposed to use or am I screwed? Any additional advice on refinishing would be appreciated.

You are goning to sandy soils for repainting. Take part of the sanding dust and coarse sand paper to one side. After sanding is complete and all swept and clean, have saved the sanding dust and mix a bit of quality wood glue and putty to it. Push it deep in the cracks and allow to dry. Refilling the next day and let dry. Give it one last sanding and filling will have a perfect matching in color and wood type. Markings are acceptable if that is your desire. Otherwise you'll be ready to finish in any finish you choose. I recommend not stain and maintenance of light, like a gym floor. The color of light does'nt Show all scratches and minor defects, as do the darker colors.
