I have seen some sites that say you to get a "repair kit", but cannot find the repair kit. We have Kronotex product, in brazillian cherry. Any help would be appreciated.
Go back to where you got the flooring and see if they have any of those scratch filler crayons in the color you need. They are like a crayon and you can use them for scratches on tables and such. most home improvement or hardware stores sell them. I would try that before you spend alot of money on replacing the floor.
How can I repair light surface scratches on my wood veneer floor?
My parents bought my son a roll across the floor toy and now there are scratches all over my wood veneer, there rather light I was just wondering how to fix the problem.
I would try a product called Rejuvinate before thinking about staining. This product is amazing. Scratches disappear and the shine comes out again - even on fairly damaged floors. It isn't cheap - about $18 at Home Depot, but I have used it to remove surface scratches and they are GONE - the shine and color are even with the rest of the floor.
I would not touch-up a floor with stain without trying this product first.
